Through the use of visual images, pupils are able to develop a visual literacy to add to their skills of critical thinking in order to understand, recognise and evaluate arts as a means of expression. Learning about the Holocaust can evoke powerful emotions and using the creative arts can help pupils to express their thoughts, ideas and responses in a considerate and creative way. The pupil artwork will be on display at Bolton Central Library, 24^th – 30^th January which takes in Holocaust Memorial Day which is on the 27^th January.
