Building Futures Week

We are hosting a 'Building Futures' week from Monday 3rd - Friday 7th March 2025 to support our children to develop awareness and excitement aboiut their future career pathways.

We will welcome many of our parents, past pupils and governors into school to talk about their own career paths. Children in KS2 are invited to apply to shadow teaching assistants, teachers and even our very own Headteacher - Mrs Mills! Children will need to apply and, after shortisting, be interviewed by governors for their chosen position. Children will also be given an opportunity to guess the career path of our current members of staff. All classes have books to share linked to a variety of careers. We will also teach the children about key personal skills which are necessary to be successful in the workplace and join webinars allowing them to see which subjects link to certain jobs.
