I have been a parent foundation Governor of Horwich Parish School, elected by the parochial church council of Holy Trinity Church since 2009 before becoming Diocesan Governor in 2012. I am Chair of the School Improvement Committee and a member of the Pupil, Community and Parish Committee, I also serve on the Admissions Committee. The experience I bring to my role is 30 years of primary school teaching from Nursery to Year 6 in both Lancashire and Bolton authorities. I am up to date with current good practice and OFSTED expectations. My daughter spent all her primary education years at Horwich Parish School and is now in Sixth Form education. I attend Holy Trinity Church with my family, the church where I married Richard.
