Well done ! Another amazing performance from all the children. We had superb performances with all children coming in under 46th place and most in the top 30. There were approximately 115 children running. Great team work! Thankyou to the parents for their support as always.
We are pleased to introduce our sports council for 2017-18.
On Sunday 24th September at Wigan and Ashton gymnastic competition,representing Bolton gymnastic club, Jasmine got silver on floor and bronze on vault, Abbie got silver on floor . Skye got bronze on vault and gold on floor and overall winner.
Well done to our team who competed last night. Despite the conditions we had some impressive results. Well done to Finlay who had never run a competitive race before.

Last night the year 6 football team played together for the final time in a tournament at St Peter’s Smithills Deane. They qualified as winners of the group stages, beating Brownlow Fold 1-0, Blackrod Church 1-0, Smithills Deane 1-0 and narrowly lost to High Lawn 0-1.
The final against Johnson Fold remained 0-0 after ten minutes so both teams were made tournament winners! Well done to the team and thank you to Mr Bracegirdle for managing the team.
Year 5 took part in a football competition at St Peters Primary School. The children were amazing and they worked their way into the final which was brilliant. They came runner up in the competition. A huge thank-you to Mr Walker for managing the team.
Our rounders team were winners all the way. They won every single match and won a trophy in the final. We are very proud of the children. Thank–you to Mrs Russell for helping with the event and also to parents for their support.
Well done to our Athletic squad who competed on Monday in the cluster competition. They performed brilliantly and were placed 3rd overall. Well done to all who competed and thanks to all who supported the event.
Yesterday the Year 4 football team played in a tournament. They beat Blackrod Church 1-0, High Lawn 3-1 and drew against Smithills Deane 0-0. They qualified for the final as group winners and played against another Smithills Deane team who they beat 2-1. A fantastic result! Well done to the team and thanks to Mr Bracegirdle for warming the team up and to Mr Griffiths for managing the team.
We are extremely proud to say we had two winners at the awards last week. Matt Carr won volunteer of the year and Steve Griffiths was presented with a special award to recognise his outstanding contribution to primary sport during his teaching career.
