Bolton Primary School Sports Award 2017

We are extremely proud to say we had two winners at the awards last week. Matt Carr won volunteer of the year and Steve Griffiths was presented with a special award to recognise his outstanding contribution to primary sport during his teaching career.

Year 3 Football

The Year 3 football team played extremely well last night winning one of the three matches played. They were an absolute credit to our school and we were all very proud of them, well done!


BMX Success-Congratulations go to Niall who recently completed in a weekend of BMX racing, managing to get his best results ever, including getting through to his first national final race.


Year 2 Football

Year 2 took part in a football competition last night. The children got into the final but just lost out. They played really well as a team. A huge thank you to Mr Crompton for managing the team and the parents for supporting the event.


Year 6 Tennis

Year 6 have had a great time with the tennis coach.

Cross Country

Any member of our cross country club could take place in a fun event on our field and around the woodland area last night. Thankyou to the staff and parents for supporting so the event could take place. The children were brilliant and we are very proud of them.


Well done to our Y6 cricket team who competed  last week in a cluster competition. They narrowly missed reaching the final, but had great fun and were  a credit to themselves and the school.

Year 3/4 Tennis

Our Year 3/4 tennis team competed at our cluster competition this week. We played brilliantly coming second in the final and only missing out by 1 point! Well done team.
