We wish our team the best of luck for tonight as they compete in the first competition of the year at Moss Bank Park. Watch this space for the results!

Update….they ran brilliantly with all boys coming in the top half of the field and an equally impressive run from the girls. Well done to Joel for coming 5th and to Freya for coming in 3rd.

Harvest Service

Our annual harvest service will be in church on Friday 9th October at 9a.m. You are welcome to join us. We are hoping to have some of our home-grown produce from the allotment, and also the children are invited to bring harvest gifts. Any donations of in-date tins and packet foods, toiletries etc will be very welcome. A presentation of the gifts will be made in church by a group of children, and the gifts will be sent on to Bolton Winterwatch and the St Luke’s Drop-in Centre. Gifts may be brought in on Thursday 8th or Friday 9th. Thank you.

Parents’ Evening

This is just to let you know that our autumn term parents’ evening is planned for Wednesday 11th November from 3.30 – 6.00pm. This is where there will be 5 minute appointments. Parents of children with additional needs will be invited to a longer appointment for a structured conversation with the class teacher, in the two weeks following parents’ evening. Therefore they will not be asked to make parents’ evening times.

Open morning

On Thursday 22nd October from 9.30 – 11.45 am there will be an Open Morning for parents of children due to start school in September 2016. Please pass on the word to anyone you know who has a child born between 1st September 2011 and 31st August 2012.

Amy Jorja Peacock and Holly Bristow Competed this weekend at the Norbreck Hotel in Blackpool at ICC Summer Jam Weekender.
Both girls were part of Hunters Cheerleading Youth Group stunt level 3 who brought home a fantastic 2nd place trophy! Holly also entered a Hip Hop dance solo. This was the first time both Holly and Hunters had entered in the dance categories, and Holly did amazing, landing a FIRST PLACE in the youth Hip Hop Solo division!!! Well done also to Amy Jorjas mum and dad, who were part of the Senior Open group stunt level 3, who also won 1st place.
